On November 29th, a Meeting of the Coordinating Committee of UNESCO Chairs in Russia took place in the village of Vyatskoe, known as the most beautiful village in Russia.
Heads of UNESCO Chairs in Russia, experts and representatives of UNESCO from abroad, among them: UNITWIN/UNESCO Chair of UNESCO Education Sector Inga NISHANYAN and responsible Secretary of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO Affairs, Ambassador for Special Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Gregory Ordzhonikidze, discussed the results of the 40 session of the UNESCO General of UNESCO. The Head of UNESCO Chair of IAAS Moscow State University SOLODOVNIK Dilyara Medekhatovna made the expert opinion on two applications.
One of the main themes of the meeting was the inclusion of the historical and cultural complex "Vyatskoe" in the preliminary list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It was reported by the Responsible Secretary of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO, Gregory ORDZHONIKIDZE.
As part of the program, the participants of the session got acquainted with the history and attractions of the village of Vyatskoe, which is included in the list of the most beautiful villages of Russia and has 53 objects of cultural heritage.
