Staff of the UNESCO Chair took part in the VIII St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum
On November 14-16, the VIII St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum was held. This year, the main theme was "Cultural Codes in the Context of Globalization." The Forum is deservedly recognized as World-Class Cultural event, attracting thousands of experts in the field of culture from all over the world every year: stars of theatre, opera and ballet, outstanding directors and musicians, public figures, representatives of power and business, academic community. The Government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Government of St. Petersburg organized the Forum. The staff of the UNESCO Chair participated in a number of round tables and conferences held within the framework of the International Cultural Forum. In particular, V.V. Kruglov became a participant of the round table "Linguocultural space" One belt, one way "- challenges and opportunities for universities." During the round table, topical issues of Russian-Chinese educational cooperation were discussed. V.V. Roundov managed to get acquainted with the Rector of Beijing University of Language and Culture Liu Li and Deputy Minister of Education of China Tian Xuejun. Also, the Chair of UNESCO IAAS Moscow State University was presented at the international scientific and practical St. Petersburg readings "Preservation of cultural and historical heritage and formation of historical memory," held within the framework of the Forum, and the staff of the department presented the results of their scientific research at the Reading sections.
